Weight Indicator
The SMART Weight Indicator allows nursing staff to quickly and effortlessly obtain an indication of a patient's weight without the need to disturb the patient. The weighing process only involves the bed moving up and down as the control system calculates weight by measuring the energy required to lift the patient.
Plugging directly into any ProAxis Plus bed, the user friendly control guides staff through a short and easy to follow process giving a weight indication in seconds. The system does not use load cells, which require maintenance, and can be used successfully on uneven floors and whilst the bed is on battery backup.
When necessary the Weight Indicator can be easily recalibrated by following a simple set of instructions displayed on the SMART control.
