ProAxis Plus has an internal frame which allows for an extra wide sleep surface, this gives more space for the patient and moves any entrapment areas out of reach. The extra long sleep surface ensures taller patients can easily be accommodated without the need for pull out extensions and infill's.

The unique mattress platform has been ergonomically designed to the mimic the human pivot points of the hips and knees, and with the dropping hinge there is minimal friction and sheer during movement. Once the sleep surface has been profiled the patient is gently held in place and will not migrate down the bed, virtually eliminating the need to constantly reposition during the day or night.

All the functions on the ProAxis Plus are electronically controlled to ensure no effort is required to move the patient; this drastically reduces manual handling risks. The use of powerful 10,000N Linak motors combined with our unique speed control system delivers smooth movement at the touch of a button. The nurse/patient hand pendant is intuitive to use and offers one touch control for cardiac chair and flat positions as well as normal functions. Lockout panels isolate hand pendant functions easily and control push button Trendelenburg (self levelling) and CPR functions.

The modular concept of ProAxis Plus is highlighted by the optional "Smart" pressure redistribution system and the "Smart" weight indicator, both of which can be supplied separately or combined in the one unit. The ability to expand the functionality of the ProAxis Plus system to suit the individuals needs by means of a simple plug in controller gives complete flexibility to patient care.
