The Company

Incorporated in 1993 Nightingale is now a leading manufacturer of hospital beds and supplier of bariatric equipment to the NHS under the NHS Supply Chain Framework Contract for Beds, Mattresses, PAC & Cushions awarded 1 March 2009. This contract covers both SALE and HIRE of our equipment to the NHS.

The Company is UK based, operates from two distribution centres and provides a 24:7 service throughout mainland UK, delivering rental equipment, which is specifically designed for bariatric patients and their carers, usually within 4 hours.

Design & Development

The ProAxis range of electric profiling hospital beds was designed and developed by Nightingale following intensive research into the needs of both bariatric patients and their carers and those at risk of acquiring pressure ulcers.

Manufacture of our equipment takes place in the UK via approved contractors with final assembly and quality control very much an in-house process.
